I don't want people to register on my site. I have tried to disable the access control via MENUS and I have tried to de-activate the block "User login" via BLOCKS.
If you do so the loginbox will disappear, but if you log-out as administrator you won't get the login box either.
I found a trick to get the login back --> by using this url:
http://tus.tp2p.com/?q=user/login&destination=comment/reply/1%23comment-...
But this is not the way to deactivate the option to registrate, there should be an easier way...someone ideas?
you can then use the user
you can then use the user page: example: http://kaska.tp2p.com/user to get the login page instead of in the navigation bar
An easy way :)
Tried it out on my site and it works:
http://angus.tp2p.com/node/4
Copied the code from the corresponding page on my site, making sure the '&destination=XXX' was set right for it and it seems to work ok :)
go 2 administer /user
go 2 administer /user management /user settings
check the box Only site administrators can create new user accounts.
Now u can put back the login box.
Visitors now can't create a account
